Katamari PSP

Posted on Tuesday 3 May 2005

Take:

and you get this:

Katamari PSP case

It’s like it was meant to be. There’s other cool cases like this one and this one, but really, why settle for anything less than perfection?

Also you can get a Photoshop Image Manipulation Software™ file to make your own. There has been talk of swappable faceplates on the Xbox 360, but I think the PS3 could steal their thunder with something like this.

Addendum: And another from Kent: front / back

    Katamari Damacy PSP mod

An enterprising gamer has modded a PSP to resemble the tiny prince from Katamari Damacy. Lovely! Link (Thanks, Rick!)…

OMG! That is awesome! The art direction is top notch! Totally creative! Can you make one for me? Similar face, but with rainbow colors? Actually, instead of a square face, can you make it with a triangular face? A pink triangle for the face would be super cool? BTW, check out my site. Do you like Pikmin? I think they are too cool for school. And cute! TTYL Bye-bye!

I second the question — what method did you use to remove the Logitech logo? I’m not adventurous enough to even spend $20 trying ideas :) Thanks!

Ah, obvious answer — nail polish remover!

Ah ha, good idea. I don’t actually have one but if I did I’d probably have already scratched it up trying to remove the logo.

[…] I had wanted to get the Logitech case for my PSP since it came out, and this Katamari “mod” makes it all the sweeter. I didn’t like the premade skin though, so I went ahead and made my own, which still needs a bit of work. Also, the laser printer at work is teh sux0rs. Once I get the Logitech logo off of the front, I’ll have a very Princely PSP indeed. I’d like to do this for the back, too (which I found on this site). You know, it’s gotten to the point where I really should just create a Katamari Damacy category. […]
